full-body: the character’s full body is visible, in any pose (standing/lying down/seated/etc)
what i can do:
— human and humanoid characters— original characters and fanart— complex backgrounds and animals are possible as long as they're part of an illustration focused on a character— character design based on a loose description (e.g. where you provide only a color scheme/general style of clothing without all the specific elements). designing a character/outfit that doesn't have clear references/detailed description is an extra charge
general rules:
— you must be 18+ to commission me— i may decline a commission altogether without specifying the reason before i have sent you the quote and before you have sent me the payment— i retain the right to refuse to draw anything i'm uncomfortable with/i'm not sure i can do. if you're uncertain whether your request will be accepted (e.g. it includes extreme violence), you can inquire about it first— i retain the copyright to the illustration as the artist; you must include attribution whenever you repost said illustration— only non-commercial use of the commissioned picture is permitted. feel free to print it out for personal use or use it as an icon! i will provide both a smaller version for web (the one i will post online) and a full resolution picture suitable for printing. i do not allow major changes to the finished picture. if you're looking to alter the picture later on outside of cropping it for an icon/header, you can negotiate it with me beforehand— mass reproduction and non-personal use of the finished illustration and any progress shots/sketches/works in progress that i send you is prohibited, be it for commercial or non-commercial purposes— you may not use my work or any part of it on platforms/accounts that are monetized— you may not use my work or any part of it to create derivative work (e.g. a collage/moodboard) unless you have acquired my permission first— you may not use my work or any part of it for any AI or blockchain-based technology, including but not limited to generative AI and NFTs— you may not trace and/or copy my work or any part of it— you may not alter or remove my signature— you may not use or distribute any sketches/work in progress shots i send you in any way, shape, or form, including posting them online— feel free to post the finished illustration online with credit (my name and a clickable link to one of my socials). i will appreciate it if you wait until i post the commission on my socials first— i will not claim ownership of any characters that do not belong to me— i will not use the finished illustration to create and sell merchandise (e.g. postcards) without your permission
payment:
— currently, the only available to me way to get paid is via my boosty page. boosty is a tipping/subscription service similar to patreon and as such, it doesn't offer refunds. be sure that you are fully interested in this commission—i will not be able to send you a refund if you decide that you no longer want this commission after you've paid for it.— my base price list is for your reference only; the final price of the commission is decided on a case by case basis after i've received your commission request, and depends on conversion rates as well. please DO NOT send me any payment before i've provided a quote for you.— the commission needs to be fully prepaid before i start working on any sketches.
deadlines:
— i work very, very slowly; expect me to take 1 to 6 months (after the payment) to complete your commission. if any delays occur, i will do my best to let you know as soon as possible.— if you have a certain deadline you would like me to meet, or you need the illustration urgently, please discuss it with me BEFORE you pay for the commission. otherwise, i cannot guarantee either.
what i need in order to start working on your commission:
(feel free to put '[@handle] commission' or anything similar in your subject line!)1. social media info— your tumblr and/or bluesky handles that you'd like me to tag when i post this commission
— the pronouns i can use to refer to you when i write the caption
— if you have any preference for how i could introduce the commission when i post it (for example, the characters' names, their rpg species/class, etc)2. commission descriptionplease provide a written description and/or attach visual references of the following:character appearance:— facial features/head features
— hairstyle/hair color
— skin tone/body type/height (if relevant)/apparent age/other important anatomical features
— clothing/accessories you'd like to see in the picturegeneral picture description— pose/facial expression/composition
— objects the character should be interacting with, if any
— color scheme/lighting/mood
— background, if any
— any other relevant information that hasn't been covered in the above pointsfeel free to leave some of these up to me, for example the lighting or color scheme. detailed descriptions are welcome; bullet points as opposed to long sentences are appreciated, as they make keeping track of all the details easier.
process and edits:
typically, i provide progress shots at the following stages:full-render commissions
— rough sketch: to give you an idea of the pose and the overall composition. this is the stage where practically anything can be changed if you so require. once i start working on the lineart, any major edits to the previously agreed upon posing/composition will cost extra
— lineart: the finished lineart. it might lack smaller details as it is only the base for the subsequent rendering. i can change a small number of things at your request (e.g., make the character's nose bigger) free of charge; any major edits, including adding larger details that were not part of the original commission request, will cost extra
— base colors: optional. you may request i check in with you at this stage to make sure you like where the color scheme is going, or i may choose to do it myself if i need your input
— full render: the finished illustration. at this stage, you may request i change smaller details or perform minor color correction; any major edits, including adding larger details that were not part of the original commission request, will cost extratwo minor revision sessions are included for each stage, if needed; the rough sketch can be redone completely twice. regardless of how major the edit is, if i forget to include any details that were part of the original request, or portray them in a way that clearly goes against your original description (e.g. this or that object had been described as green and i made it red), such editing will be provided free of charge.
